Administrative Assistant

Eston College is seeking an Administrative Assistant.

This is a full-time position (or part-time for the right person) with the successful candidate starting immediately.

The Admin Assistant will work closely with the Administrator, Academic Dean and Finance Officer but will ultimately be overseen by the Administrator. This person will cover some basic reception duties such as answering the phone and picking up the mail. Under the supervision of the Administrator, they will create and schedule content for our social channels and the Alumni Network. The Admin Assistant will assist the Academic Dean to coordinate the logistics of travel and accommodation for adjunct faculty. As the Finance Officer is working remotely 75% of the time, the Admin Assistant will perform on site tasks required. Some of the tasks may include assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end and overdue accounts.

There will be an option for ministry travel. It would be an asset to have experience leading teams and mentoring students. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently, have good time and task management skills, excellent verbal and written communication and attention to detail. The Admin Assistant is encouraged to incorporate time in chapel, private prayer, and mentoring of students into their work life.
