Dale Harris will be teaching “The Writing and Thought of C. S. Lewis” C.S. Lewis has been called the most influential Christian writer of the 20th Century, one of the intellectual giants of his day, and the patron saint of the Christian imagination. Remembered as much for his rigorous apologetic writings as for his compelling fantasy stories and profound reflections on the spiritual life, C.S. Lewis has left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of countless Christians from across denominational lines. This course will survey C. S. Lewis’s most significant works, exploring their literary, theological, and philosophical significance, and examining their implications for Christian discipleship, apologetics, and spiritual formation in the 21st Century.
